To Do, or Not To Do

Check out this wonderful blog post by my good friend, author (Pocket Full of Victories) and spiritual life coach Taneki Dacres. It takes a certain level of spiritual maturity to pray for the enemies God shows you and still walk in love and peace. God truly protects and guards His children.

Earlier this morning God revealed something about someone in my life that was not shocking but disturbing. The revelation pertained to a deceptive friend and it exposed this “unfriendly friend.” This revelation immediately stirred my flesh, and my initial thought was to update my Facebook status with a note to all deceptive friends: “I see you; you are exposed.” In my mind I wrote, rewrote, edited and re-edited my status, all the while making sure that it was known to all that My God always reveals and always protects. But then…I prayed…and we all know that prayer changes things.  As I prayed God wrapped me in His peace and I realized that I did not have to say anything. I did not have to make a public announcement about how God vindicates, or how He holds me up with His right hand of power, or how He enlarged my path…
